Great photo! I love the transparency of the ice, it looks like a cocoon around the branches.

As a novice photographer, I am quite thrilled to find your blog with so many great photos. So, now I have a question: do you use a tripod for these shot? For some? For all? Just curious. I'm just getting the hang of using a tripod and trying to learn how to adjust the shutter, etc. when using it.
Thanks.

I love your snowy photos. I'm going to Colorado in 3 weeks - can you give me some pointers to take better snow shots?

absolutely amazing. i can't believe that it's real, it's utterly beautiful. initially i thought it was photoshopped, but then i read your note down the bottom.

it really looks like something out of a magnificent fairytale book.

Love these photos. Makes me happy though to think we've planned to visit this part of the country in Autumn rather than winter!

For a moment I thought the snow on top of the branch were clouds sitting in the sky. This is a beautiful photo mother nature.

Hi, I found you because of your blog of note award and congrats. I grew up in upstate, New York and it does have an unworldly beauty in the winter. This photo is stunning. Good luck with your blog.

Very nice. Looks a lot like Indiana, except we never have skies that blue in the winter.

WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
I am from Australia, Queensland actually, and we never see snow, let alone ice storms.
Your photography is simply amazing, thankyou for allowing people to peer into your part of the world.
Such sensitivity so beautifully portrayed.
