From Meagan's Garden

From Meagan's Garden, originally uploaded by Chase Images.

Another year. 10.5 years ago Meagan left this world, a demise shrouded by tragedy. Today she would be 28 and as her father I always wonder what life would be like if she were still with us. I can still hear the pitter patter of her toddler feet and vivid memories of her love for Cheerio's as those tid bits were generally spread around the house. As an adolescent she would bring home stray dogs and cats that then I would have to find homes for because we already had a menagerie of animals. She loved life and the beauty around her. She will forever be missed.
Happy Birthday Sweetheart

You bring so much to this site with your photographs. You make so many of us stop, and realize the beauty we are missing. It was sad to read about Meagan, but thank you for sharing it. I would like to believe that somehow, Meagan can see the beauty and life that she so loved, through your photos. I'm so sorry for your loss.
