A Great Blue Heron.
Amazing bird. I often think of the wildlife and how they endure. I left this shot as is in it's pure natural state. No umbrellas... no bathrooms... no plasma TV's... just the gifts of evolution.

Very good shot Michael. What majestic birds. We have one here on the pond.
My neighbors had a small man made gold fish pond in their yard, and the Blue Herron went over and ate all the fish in one sitting. The neighbors said he could hardly fly after his main course...He had to get a running start to get off the ground. :)
