I love old buildings. I often think of the people who used the building and what they were like and what it would be like to meet them. Fantastic photograph.
Having been raised as a country kid in rural New Brunswick some years ago, memories are always evoked of the simple, cherished times when I see photos such as yours.
From dawn when the rooster crowed til darkness, the barn was a hub of farm activity. Your photo sends a haunting message of yester-year.

I thought this was a chapel in the middle of nowhere. I really like the 'abandoned' feel and the 'lonely' feel. That's what I feel here ^^
Love this one, too, and especially the snow dog below.
This is how i'm feeling today. Nostalgic and rather lonely. They dub it as ‘empty nest syndrome,’ which is brand new to me.
