The Bluebird is New York State's state bird, yet they are rarely seen in these parts. This one just landed in this tree about 30 yards from me as I walked down a trail near Glen Lake.

Great shot Michael. I haven't seen any here in Mass yet this year. I think it may be a while before I do.
I built a Bluebird box two years ago and they have stuck around. They like meal worms also.
