A large part of my love for photography is the chase. A friend and I were on our way back from dropping off my 13 and 11 year olds at their mom's in western Vermont last night. The trip out I kept looking back to the west as we headed east knowing I may or may not make it back to this spot in time. This is 30 minutes back into NY state and the entire trip was filled with hope that there would be enough light. The "Chase" was on.

looks like you won the prize! :)
This is such a beautiful picture. And it seems you snapped the picture at just the right minute -- the sunset looks perfect.

Great, you are very near to nature.
amazing...no word to explain......
AWESOME PHOTO!!!
The chase is fun. It's like hunting, but without having to kill any cute deer :).
Nice shot. I love the colors of the sky at different times of the day.
Coco
wow!! this is an amazing picture. You are very good at finding good shots. I my-self love photography but have never gotten shots like these. good job!!
I'm soooooo jealous of you!
I'm in a 100 degree weather...
you have nice web
nice content and essence you got a pure strong base to build on
Wonderful photo!!!
The backside of my home faces west and we get some of the most stunning sunsets...I know I should be taking photos (I'm photography challenged) sometimes I run for the camera but by the time I get outside the moment has gone!!! Maybe I'm spoiled and take the sunsets too much for granted...as they are in my back yard??? :0)
Cheers
Gorgeous! Absolutely fantastic.
Beautiful. I moved from Central Vermont just last year and this warms my heart and reminds me of the drive we took through New York into Vermont in December 2006.
Hello, Michael. I wish I had the patience for the chase. I was arranging books around the house this afternoon and found David Noton's "Chasing the Light". That's what I call persistence.
Your pictures exude such patience and love for that "click".
Wow! so beautiful..really pro photographer!
That, IS AN AWESOME PIC!!
I love your pics! beautiful colours.
Beautiful photo. I also love the chase. I'm on the beach so it can be over very quickly so you need to be fast. Especially on silhouettes.
I just love sunrise and sunset photos! This is awesome
I love sunsets! This one is so good I put it as my desktop. I hope you don't mind.

Miss Lady Desire
i wish i was there
really good one
Ah yes, I can relate very well to your concept of the 'Chase'. I do it all the time. The life of a parent doesn't always allow for maximum flexibility.
This one could be titled, Promises. It has a feeling of hope. Thank you.
