It's been one of the rainiest summers here in Eastern Upstate NY and New England on record. The streams are running like it's Spring and there is certainly little chance of forest fires. On my many hikes with Chase I come across countless wild mushrooms. These are also due to the unusually wet ground. Another are the pesky Black Flies, Gnats and Mosquitoes.

Thanks for the commentary. It's always nice to hear what the artist is doing or thinking before capturing the light.
