Glistening


We've had many sub-zero mornings up here this winter. For those of you in warmer climates... this frosty effect comes from a nearby stream. The water is warmer than the air causing mist to rise and then cling to basically anything in it's path and freeze. It's really quite beautiful, especially if the skies are clear

Great shot, I got a few like these near the Fenimore bridge in Hudson Falls a few years ago, but now since the wife doesn't work I am to lazy to get out early on a cold morning. Maybe this will inspire me.

That is lovely, just too cold for me. I think the coldest morning for us, we got down to 8.
